This machine is capable of loading 50-60 parts per minute and holding tolerances that compare to match shooters. This machine requires a smaller footprint and a reduction in labor and energy cost while still maintaining a high rate of output compared to other armory presses. Safety is key to this machine starting with a fully encased safety enclosure, stop switch doors, intrinsically safe electronics, and a powder delivery system that combines both safety and efficiency. The L-550 is built on a 15 station rotary that checks each case for debris. Additional features include flash hole, tandem powder drops, double laser powder checks, bullet seat with a second seating die for perfect precision, laser OAL, crimp, collet crimp and partial case gauge die with auto reject that works without shutting down the operation. The Alpha L-550 is the new way of incorporating energy reduction, space reduction and labor reduction without giving up longevity of machine life or compromising quality and production of your operation.
